Hacking The D2C mod chip/clip

Hello there,

I just received the chips and clip, but I am having a problem with them. After clipping the mod on to the D2C chip it has problems playing the backup games. It says that it cannot read the disc and to refer to the owner manual. Putting a game that was bought from the store, it plays the game perfectly fine. Could there be a problem with the chips or clip??

I know these backup games are good because these discs can play on other systems with the D2C mod chip/clip.

Any insight into this problem is greatly appreciated.

Yeah I have to agree, wrong forum much??

If the modchip doesn't seem to be doing anything, (not running backups) then it's most likely the connection being faulty.
