Firefox, lots of customization and addons for better security.

but if Seamonkey had better compatability with Firefox addons i would have said Seamonkey would be the best.

i love chrome, simple and easy to use. it also has add ons like firefox. fire fox is also great, the rest arent that great (other than opera). ESPECIALLY safari, safari on windows = balls.

Firefox or Opera.

Chrome is meh, IE 8 is meh, and Safari is just plain wtfcrapshit on windows.
Lols.
Seems that Firefox is way in the lead. Is it only because of customization?
For you guys, how's its performance compared to say IE, Chrome, and Opera?

Shame Firefox runs quiet slow on my computer. ._.

At the moment, I have to say Safari for Mac (Apple sucks at Windows coding so much, a "Hello World" program would probably be 90 MB and leak memory all over.) ...Well, the WebKit nightlies, more specifically. It flies when you use it in 64-bit mode on Snow Leopard. But if Camino were 64-bit and had comparable speed, I'd switch back to it in a split-second.

Opera is a quite close second. It seems quite... graceful on both Windows and Mac (though the Mac version does feel a bit like a port... since it is one). IE is epicfail (websites are a pain in the ass to make because of this idiot), I have privacy/ethic concerns with Google Chrome (this does not affect the Chromium nightlies, which I have), and Firefox is a memory clusterfuck (but otherwise, awesome).

well it depends Firefox runs at a exceptable enough spped for me to take it's features and chose it over Chrome at this time.
now Minefild 3.7 beta of firefox runs really really fast compared to the stable version of FF so i use it more often than plain old firefox.
opera has some isues with Ubuntu for me some od reason it doesn't play flash without being really slow and laggy.
i've tried running Safari through Wine and all it did was crash a lot, might give it a go in win7 if i ever take the time to stop compiling shit.
As for IE8 i don't like it one bit it's slow compared to all the other options out there and really only exist as a firefox downloader for most people i know, and i've never liked how buggy active x is.

I like and used Opera for ever since the 4.x or 5.x days. But I finally got tired of site incompatibilities and switched to Firefox. I didn't feel like starting up Firefox just for the incompatible sites. I like Chrome too cause of how fast it is, but I got too used to Adblock. I know there's ways to get that working on Chrome btw.

Going to post my add-ons for Firefox that makes it the best browser evar.

Adblocker plus
All-in-one sidebar
colorful tabs (makes them look better :3 )
download statusbar
flagfox
personas.

I want moar.

Firefox, of course. There's no question about it

I've never heard about Flock, but I've tried all the others and firefox is easily the best.

I agree with deanxxczx, firefox is far superior due to the many different plugins you can get.
I've tried chrome, don't like it, everyone knows IE is shit.

I did try Shiretoko and Minefield (64-bit versions of firefox), this was faster than 32bit firefox (as expected), but not all plugins work with it so i switched back to 32 bit.

Firefox is so good. Because for everything they have a nice add-on. I love that shit. I'd wish it was free.... *sigh*
Wait, you pay for Firefox? :S

Nope, I just wondered if people pay attention. You passed the test. Well done.

Opera with some userscripts. Still waiting on that new javascript engine, though.
I'll start using chromium when it gets an option for external stylesheets.
