Gaming The 3DS and DS Differences in Games?

There's this game I want to get, when I do buy the 3DS. But this game has a 3DS version and a DS version so is there a difference or is it the same game?

Could be that the 3DS one is much better, could be that they're both shit. There aren't many games that are released on both the NDS and the 3DS, but at the very least tell us what game you're talking about.

Perhaps its SMT: Devil Survivor (Overclocked)? If that's the one you're talking about, then get the 3DS version. Its an expanded version of the original Devil Survivor with voice acting for almost every cutscene if not all.

After looking up gameplay for both games, they both seem to be pretty much the same. The gameplay that I watched for the 3DS seemed to be of higher quality and has a better framerate, although that could just be due to the method used to capture the video.
