Yes there are already cheating bastards on Tetris Party, what the cheats are doing is disconnection from the game as soon as they get beat, which prevents them from losing any of their points an the winner gaining any.

I luckily haven't seen any problems like that yet.
Pretty much everyone Ive played with has stuck around for at least a few matches.
I'm kinda surprised though, Nintendo has been pretty good about punishing disconnects.

Try it, just disconnect from the game when you get beat and you will notice that your score won't have changed.
