Miike mentioned this at some film festival a week or two ago.
I want to say it was Cannes, but not sure.

I don't think this is a good idea. Phoenix Wright should have been an anime, then they could have kept all of the crazy stuff.

Some things are good for live-action, and some aren't. This is one that doesn't, at least in my opinion.
I'm not saying it's gonna suck or that i won't watch it though.

I think it's not gonna happen. After Gyakuten Saiban 4 the jurisdiction in the series has been completly revamped. That's why Gyakuten Kenji 1+2 take place before Gyakuten Saiban 4.

the only one that fits right is maya, phoenix and edgeworth's actors don't fit at all

Why don`t they do an animated movie similar to Professor Laytons before going life-action? I don`t get it...

Also the actress for Maya looks really similar to Maya (maybe because of the hair) but Phoenix and Miles don`t really look like them.

I`m still curious to see if they can capture the charm of the series in life-action. I doubt it heavily!

I'm trying to picture it in my head,but it doesn't feel the same.
