Can people stop bringing that up? Nintendo did NOIT add any autoupdate feature, they just reworeded the eula to make it clearer that they were allowed. COD5 get an update wich did not need to be confirmed, it got 2 new modes. That could be all its refering to. Another example is that the news channel was updated a year ago, with no permission asked. Both these were server side updates, but they were still updates.

You can't know that, the EULA says that they can (if they want) upgrade your system with or without your knowledge or consent....!!!

Yes, they are legally allowed. However, they did not add some magically ability in 3.4 to do so. If they can, that ability is also in older updates. All they did was change the wording of the eula

Of course they did, and it wasn t magically, this feature is only inside v3.4 and later, they can't add auto update to oldest system menu versions.

I'd like to see some proof of the claim that they added the ability to autoupdate. Team twiizers looked through the update, but didnt post anything about that.

edit: read this : http://wiibrew.org/wiki/System_Menu_3.4

Fors also stated that he didn't find anything related to "auto-updates" in the 3.4 software.

Yes, you should read the end of the page too, you really want team twiizers to clarify that it s a feature of ios 50 ? just ask devs at wiibrew, but it s perfectly clear without technicals informations, they can auto update since v3.4, end of story

this is just the policy, not the actual update. If you read it, youll see it says the same thing, they just made it clearer they did not have to ask you before updating.
