Hi helpful people. A while back I got a used Wii that used USB Loader GX. Came with the games on USB. Recently I stupidly connected it to the internet. It did the sys update thing. Then instead of playing USB games it just goes back to Homebrew. I've been working on it for 3 days straight to get it to work, tried many options incl wii flow. Nothing has worked so here I am. I would very much appreciate some help from an expert!

Specs:

-White Wii with Wii Motion Plus controllers

-Homebrew is working, letterbombed for latest version (i think)

-Did backup

-Tried new version of usb loader gx

-Priiloader installer would not link with controllers

-Wii Flow said it needed updated IOS58 updated

-IOS58 loader didnt fix

-Modmii didn't work

-D2x cIOS installer would not link with controllers

i tried using the reset button but either didnt do it right or it didnt work...think that was the daco version...

Okay...next issue. Game crashed. Super Mario Galaxy. My daughter was just playing it and it went black screen on her. Have it on USB stick under Fat32. Any ideas?

I don't know. USB flash drives are kinda iffy when it comes to the Wii, some work, some don't, some sometimes work and sometimes don't.
Mine's seems to work just fine, if this black screen problem keeps happening, try to see if it happens on other games. And if it does, try other flash drives if you have any other.
