Cannot get certain NSP's to instal correctly using either (a)inbuilt installer or (b)SX Installer V1.5

(a) Installs and shows white box on home screen and 'Could not start the sofware' when attempted
(b) When attempting to install shows 'NCA signature verification failed'

Any ideas how to solve this please?

Switch FW V6.1.0
SXOS 2.5.2

Actually nothing needs above 6.2 right now. Did SXOS come out with support for 7.0+ yet?

Use ChoiDujourNX but you'll need to temporarily boot your Switch with a different CFW than SXOS like Atmosphere, install the update then you can go back to SXOS.

I had plenty of nsps fail to show up correctly until I moved to 7.0.1 but there are still some nsp install failures doom for example using sx os latest installing from xci .

Why do you have to use Atmosphere before updating the firmware vs SXOS

Go to 6.2 and you can play anything afaik. I'd hold off on 7.x until the next stable release, but that's just me.

2.6.1 may say beta behind it, but believe me, it is a stable release. And it has full 7.x support.

They prefer to use the term beta for one reason. If somebody finds a bug, they can say "well it was a beta, thanks for letting us know." So then they implement a hot fix that fixes the bug. And they are pretty quick when it comes to hot fixes.

Basically, don't let the term beta fool you. It's a stable release. 7.0.0/7.0.1 on SX 2.6.1 beta work flawlessly.

7.0.1 works fine with 2.6.1. Also try SX Installer 1.52. There are some more recent games that are requiring the newest master_key to play, meaning 7.0.x fyi. Not sure the names off the top of my head though.

I was able to use ChoiDujourNX via SXOS however for some reason I need to have a copy of Bayonetta (japan) on the SD card otherwise it wont open (black screen). Anyone know why or if there's a way around this?
Anyway I updated to 6.2 and all working ok now
