Homebrew Suggestion SXOS 2.0 update also enabled theme support

For those of you who don't know. The latest SXOS custom firmware update (2.0) also enabled theme support. (Refer to this thread if you didn't know themes were possible "https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-themes-arrive-on-switch-via-homebrew.518779/"). If you would like to me to post a how-to guide feel free to ask for one, but installing themes are pretty self explanatory if you've ever done any sort LayeredFS work.

Currently, themes can only be done thanks to LayeredFS, and thanks to SXOS 2.0 re-enabling LayeredFS in it's CFW you can now download some sweet themes for the switch! Check out the discord here to see some of them. (https://discordapp.com/invite/DeBASJ9)

P.S. Themes currently break emuNAND for some reason. I don't know if it is just my switch or across the board. But if you try it out and it works on emuNAND let me know!

Custom themes are breaking the homebrew compatibility. For example duke3d and Quake 3 are crashing.

Are you on 5.1.0 or 6.0.0? Because on my SCOS 2.0 with 6.0.0 I get custom lockscreen and lockscreen icon but no wallpaper. But text under themes changes to Pokemon light and Pokemon Dark. As far as I'm aware themes don't fully work on SXOS 2.0 with 6.0.0 for some reason, but the relevant people are looking into it. Thanks

its called smo winter theme.szs , how do i exactly install this though !?

i have sx os cfw with autorcm enabled and an atmosphere folder in the root of my mSD.
please let me know the steps!

i never used that layeredfs stuff.

All you need to do is put the folder downloaded in a folder named sxos>titles, then reboot, it’s still very buggy though so if it doesnt work i’d probably delete it till it’s more stable

You need to have your sd card structured like this, also you must be on SXOS 2.0, again it's super buggy so I don't recommend it for conventional use

I so want a background with Blake’s 7 logo ( old bbc sifi TV show) I don’t see way Nintendo did not just give us the option to use “wallpaper” in the first place.

I'm on 5.1 but people on this post have been reported bugs with 6.0, so I assume its still buggy on 6.0... (It's buggy in general but less buggy on 5.1)

Yup place the downloaded folder on your sd card in the directory "sxos/titles/" I attached an image earlier in this form of a picture of the directory if you want to look at it

It might also be the theme you have downloaded. The only one I got working was the winter odyssey one on the discord server
