Hacking Sx Pro Custom boot.dat Problems

Im trying to set get a custom boot.dat for using the hekate and can't currently get this to work using the SX OS dongle. I've tried using a guide found online from hackinformer.com :P. The only problem is the only windows OS computer I have gives me an error every time I try to open python. I have Python on Mac OS which runs perfectly, I have renamed the hekate payload to boot.bin tried dropping it on top of tx_custom_boot.py script, In windows or mac it does absolutely nothing and I dont get a boot.dat file. Any suggestions or help would be awsome! Sorry for any inconvenience.

If their is a way to do this a method to do this on Mac OS python that would be good to know as my Windows PC runs pretty slowly.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
