That was my main intent as well and also being able to back up my save games. I know I'm going to get screwed sooner or later so before doing anything I delinked my account and made a nand backup.

It's kinda lame losing my DLC and eshop games at the moment but I'm sure a safer method to replace them will come up that isn't devmenu-ish lol

actually i cant play it even without a dump i inserted the game card and start the game this msg shows " a software update is required ,it.ll download now " no other options why???

if you have a clean nand backup, backup your saves, restore it and update your system, there's no point in staying on 5.0.1 rather than 5.1 tho.

solved the issue by formatting and intializing the console now its working
