Hey guys, and greetings from germany. Today i bring you a dead nintendo Switch that had some water damage. Board was cleaned with iso alcohol incl. connectors.

Now putting everything together, charger shows constant 5V 0.46A and i have a bluescreen. Battery charging seems good, so i checked some power rails and found out that one of the that powers the Tegra seems to be dead. Max77621

On the bottom the second same chip gives around 0.9V output, while the other stays at 0V.
I checked the components around it and there seems to be no short to ground. Voltage 3.3V is there and also 1,8V

Only difference ist that the dead output hast an Resistance of about 80ohms to ground, while the working around 300ohms.

Im not shure how the system power management of the switch works, maybe the second DC DC converter only goes on high load on, so i rather try to ask you guys if someone of you had also this problem and solved it by replacing the max 77621

/edit yeah i would like to include a picture but the forum, but the forum is blocking like everything of my message.
