Micro Sd: fat32
USB external hard drive: fat32

It hasn't happened to me, yet. I'm asking in case of a black out. I always eject it during sleep mode. I am keeping an eye on the weather outside, in case of rain or storms. But there is always a chance it might happen.
Will it get corrupted?

I was playing Pokémon and my hard drive got unplugged on accident the game just crashed. Plugged it back in and loaded the game again and it ran fine no corruption but if the game is saving and that happens might corrupt the gamesave

thanks for replying. one last thing, was both your micro sd card and your usb fat32?

exFAT is fine if used on a USB device. Since you're only mounting and not running homebrew off of it

it would be the same if you tried to eject a cartridge while the game is open. Most of the game runs from the USB while some data is in memory

it would crash but the last save data is fine since that is on console
