So I just thought I'd do a very quick [and somewhat unprofessional] review of this Switch stand I bought from Etsy, made by CreativeApparelCo. [Just want to mention that I'm not getting paid for this review, that I'm not trying to promote it, I just wanted to share with you, just in case you guys wanted to get one, as well.]

So we all have that issue with charging our Switches and playing it in handheld mode, while having it stand up, correct?

So I bought this stand from Etsy. After shipping it came to be about 11 bucks for me.

Now the cool thing is that it's collapsible for portability. It's kinda cool!

It has 3 different notches, so you can slant the stand in 3 different positions, which is nice, as well.

Like I said, quick and bullshit review, but I just wanted to show you guys something and tell you my thoughts on it.

It's nice, compact, has 3 different angle settings, and you can charge your thing while you're playing it, too.

I'd give it a solid 9/10. The other 1/10? - It took me about 15 minutes to find out how to open it, haha! And it despite feeling somewhat well-made, the plastic seems light-weight and easily breakable, for instance, if you were to step on it.

But for the price, I deffo recommend! :)

Here's the link for those, interested:

[if I'm not allowed to do this, mods, please feel free to take it down!]

May try it, but worried is cheap for the price offered. Would be nice to have replaced dock all together but good for just not needing tv and can use portable chargers. :)

I didn't know there was another one out there. Anyway, I guess it's all down to preference. It doesn't feel cheap, really. It feels well-made imo. I actually have mine next to me as we speak. I don't think they photoshopped it out lol.

Holy crap you are right! If you zoom in on it you can see where they photoshoped out the Nintendo Switch logo, everything is identical even the lighting...

They did photoshop it, compare yours to the official one

That is literally the hori playstand with the logo photoshopped out. I'm very doubtful you'll get the same quality as the officially licensed product, which will cost only a bit more from Amazon.

Eh, it's working well for me. It's durable enough.

Didn't even know this Hori thing existed. Was just trying to help you all out

At best this company is essentially stealing the product design and reselling it themselves, which is wrong. So you are giving money to people who are stealing product designs from other companies.

thx, i need a stand tbh.
because sometimes my hands become tired from holding the switch (it is somewhat heavy) and so i like to pull out the joycons and play tablet mode but i do not have a stand , and i can't always find something to put my switch behind it.

i bookmarked that stand from etsy, will get it eventually 11bucks is a good deal !
and i like that it is adjustable for different viewing angles.

I went with the Hori one thats pretty much identical but licenced by nintendo:

£9.99 and works perfectly, i intend to have my SFANS adapter sit under inside and loop the cable up and under the front into the switch.
