Hacking Question Switch on 3.0.2 Help Required

Hello all,

I have just got a switch on 3.0.2 and need to update as the sdxc micro sd card will not work.
I see a few different version around.
Just wondering if someone could please help me so that i dont brick the console.
Would prefer to not have to enter auto rcm mode.

I distinctly remember advising you to make a post in the Switch Noobs Paradise as opposed to making a new thread for every new question that you have (of which I think I need more than two hands to count them all).

Anyways, if you want the exFAT patch on your firmware, the best way to do that is by using the homebrew app ChoiDujourNX. If you don't wish to use AutoRCM, then toggle it off during the installation process and make sure you are using firmware files that match your current firmware since any firmware higher than 3.0.2 will burn fuses and prevent you from downgrading without RCM. Although I don't see why you wouldn't want to use AutoRCM as it can save some wear and tear on your pins.
