Hacking Question Switch not working after accidental update

Hi Guys

I am out of ideas, and need to ask you for help please.
Our console was accidentally updated, I am not sure if the kids updated the game or the console, as they don't know themselves, but they say they were asked to perform some sort of update and now the games will not start anymore. I get that standard "could not start the game" error.

Console is on 12.0.3
Atmosphere 0.19.4
Sig patches for AMS 0.19.4
Payload is Fusee, also latest.

I can enter RCM and boot into the hacked menu, but as I said, no games will start.

Tried reinstalling a few games, same problem.

Any ideas, what we can do about this machine to get it going again?

You have to wait until Atmosphere and sigpatches are updated.

Next time, don't give a hacked Switch to your kids nor left in docked, so you have to delete the WiFi setting.

Agreed, I usually change the DNS so it cannot be updated.
Lesson learned.
I am glad if its that simple, I mean just to wait.
Whats the reason for not leaving it docked?

The console basically stays on no airplane mode unless you activate it before putting on the dock since otherwise wireless controllers wouldn't work

Don't feel bad for yourself,after all this an an accidental update by nintendo they even decided no stop distributing that

Who knows what are they planning,maybe a big uldate for E3

Switch can update automatically if it is docked, also airplane mode don't work if it is docked unless you disable on auto-connect, so turn airplane mode on, then off to kill the internet before goes to dock.

I see that atmo 0.19.4 supports 12.0.3 switch os, so why arent the games working then?
Is it the sig patches only that need updating then? In that case, shouldnt some old game still work, I mean with old sig patches?

You are right, AMS 19.4 should work for 12.0.3 however Nintendo pulled the update so it might be that you experience an issue with the HOS update. On the other hand are you certain that you have the correct sig patches? You can get the latest from here: https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches/releases
By the way sigpatches needs to be updated for new HOS versions and ATM versions not for new games. It's not like old games will work with old sigpatches but new games won't.

I am confused as to why the ones from the link I used are not working.

How do you boot cfw? Hekate fss0 or fusee primary?
 
I had the same issue i could boot into cfw but no games would launch i fixed it by deleting the atmosphere and sept folders on my sd card and doing a clean install of atmosphere and sigpatches so try it..

You can downgrade using Daybreak to v12.0.2

Hey. I am having issues hopefully you can help. My office is 10. And cfw 0.12. Amos. A recently released game will not start for me. I need some clarification on the best course of action. I updated sigpatches ..(not sure if I need to use the updated payload for those to work?) But they did not help launch that game. What I am wondering g is. Can I use 0.19.4 Amos on 10. Firmware? Just replace current Amos with updated? Bootload and the newer games should work??

Probably a minimum firmware requirement...update using Daybreak and use up to date sig patches and Hekate
