Hacking Question Switch not charing

You guys know any service in germany/europe except Nintendo that would fix my switch?

I read the title as "Switch not caring" and couldn't help but think of a coversation something like this:

Me: "I want to play a game."
Switch: "Too bad."
Me: "But you're made to play games."
Switch: "I don't care."

I'm mildly amused that apparently, this is almost exactly what's happening. Of course I'm sorry to hear it. At least it is fixable.

If you own a multimeter you can check the condensators around blue for shorts.

I dont have a Multimeter or the skills to fix my switch myself. But thanks for the tip.

Yup, it's burned out. If your lucky it's only the port that got burned out and not the system itself.

The Switch's USB-C port is specially rated and not every charger will work. Specifically you need one with a 56k Ohm Pull-up Resistor built in or it's going to happen again.

Check https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/6jnkl4/list_of_recommended_switch_usbc_chargers/ for a list of options or get an official charger. At the very least make sure you get one approved by Nintendo. It means it's been tested to work.
