Hi, my current setup is a v2 switch with a HFWFLY modchip installed and till today i had system version 18.1.0. I decided to update it so I used sthetix's HATS pack update video on youtube step by step. I first pasted and replaced the new hats pack contents on my sd card and then i used daybreak to update the Sysmmc cfw as well as Emummc cfw. Now when I reboot to OFW from hekate menu, i'm stuck in a black screen and i need to long press power button to get back in hekate. What should I do? I didn't update from the OFW on wi fi, but I don't think that this is the problem.

You should not update sysNAND with Daybreak as it can increase the risk of a ban. However it should not break OFW. Can you still boot sysNAND CFW?

[(Stock)]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
stock=1
emummc_force_disable=1
icon=bootloader/res/icon_switch.bmp
{}

try this

I'm sorry, I am kinda noob at switch modding. Where should I put this?

Hekate_ipl

I'll try this asap. Is there anything else to do beside replacing the text alr in the doc with the one you gave me?

If you use that and it still doesn't launch stock OFW, meaning no CFW then there might be something wrong with your switch.

Next time, just update normally in OFW.

I don't use HATS, and I don't recommend YouTube hacking guides. It's hard for me to troubleshoot when I don't know exactly what is in HATS. But I'm also guessing it's a config issue or something isn't updated that needs to be. When I have issues after an update I go through everything on the SD one by one and update everything including any sysmodules, anything that places files in SD:\atmosphere\contents, since those are firmware version and sometimes Atmosphere version dependant. But since you used a pack that might be hard for you to do which is why I don't like packs.

Hard to tell, well first see if stock boot
This worked, it created another launching icon which says stock and finally i can boot stock fw. Altough, when I reboot on OFW from Hekate it still doesn't work... Thanks!

Update: if you used sthetix's tutorial on youtube on updating the console DON'T update the sysMMC through daybreak. You won't be able to reboot into OFW. Do everything beside that, and update the OFW the legit way, connected to the internet ON the OFW. If you did follow sthetix's video, downgrade the version to the version you were on (in my case 18.1.0). The downgrade process is the same as the upgrade process (on Daybreak) and then reboot into OFW and update it from there. Hope it helps
