Yea the lite cant be docked. Its just steaming to the pc like Hayato said. There is homebrew to allow it to stream to the pc. The lite lacks the hardware needed to actually be "docked"

Well, to be honest, when someone says Docked regarding the Switch (Lite or not), the idea is that it runs as if docked, including the boost in clock speeds. This is not doing that.

You should be able to run some variant of overclock to do that too. You can even get games to render in 1080p with reverseNX. The only thing that is truly missing is 1080p output.

Well dude has no idea what is the difference between streaming, handheld mode and dock mode, as the video just show streaming over network, with him opening a thread he is just wasting everyone time. Wouldn't be so bad if he got the information correctly.

Huge difference between docked and streaming.
This encodes the output to a video and sends it to whichever other device, causing artifacts and lag.
Docked means a direct video signal is send to the display.

Yeah this aint docked, at all... Proper docked not only increases the clock frequencies, but also shuts off the display.
This? Its spitting out image both to the switch itself, as well as the TV through encoding. With undocked clocks... That essentially means this method is using more resources to do more work than a properly docked switch, with even less computing power.

Very misleading title. But sure, if all you want is to display the image on a TV, good for you... But dont go and compare it to a properly docked switch.
