I had figured out in a previous thread that I had bought a scam SD Card & I have since replaced it.

But now that I'm trying to use my switch again, the home menu to the switch doesn't seem to work. Whenever I try to turn it on it just stays a black screen no matter how many soft resets I do. Which on it's own wouldn't be too bad so I can chalk it up to the battery being funky, if it wasn't for the fact that the homebrew I have been using opens just fine. But then once I try entering to the main switch it practically crashes, with or without the SD Card in it. It doesn't even give me the message indicating the switch is shutting down because of the removal of the SD Card.

Am I gonna have to factory reset my switch or am I looking way too extreme for a solution?

(Edit: Turns out the new sd card I got is an exfat so I just needed to use a converter to get it to set up correctly.)
