The internet is full of “longest games” lists that always disappoint. So let’s make a real list for Nintendo Switch games, but let’s not simply talk about things like unlocking every achievement. No, let’s go insane.

Let’s make a list of all the Nintendo Switch video games that would take an obscenely long time to actually complete. As in, reaching a point where there wouldn’t be anything else to do. The only rules are:

- Anything we do must go to a tangible goal, as in something that stays in the game (no “obtain every Mario Kart trophy with every car”, as the game gives you nothing for it)
- No single goal that lasts too much even for this list, for a lame reason (like having to play something for 65535 levels just to get to a kill screen)
- No goals that only very few people on earth can pull off by skill (like “finish Super Mario Bros with a time below 4:56”)
- Offline only (no “reach first place in a leaderboard” or online exclusive items)
- One savefile only

These are my entries:

- Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Collect all the Pokémon, have a living Pokédex with everyone having reached level 100 and perfect IVs, have every shiny form, have every single different form obtainable, get every food ingredient, have 999999 pokédollars, every single obtainable item, every in-game challenge completed
Estimated time to complete: above 5,000 hours
(You can do this with pretty much any main Pokémon game)
