I had a v1 Switch that has flaky results when trying to enter RCM mode. My hekate injector used to work some of the time, but often I would do the steps to place the Switch in RCM mode and nothing would happen. My auto-injector would not work and nothing would enumerate in dmesg when I plug the device in to my pc (meaning the Switch isn't providing a USB connection at all).

I had a ritual where I would plug the power cable into the device, boot into stock, and then shutdown again, which would sometimes correctly place the device in RCM mode, but often this didn't work either.

Stupidly, I then enabled AutoRCM to try and force the Switch into RCM, but now it's just completely dead. It still has the problems I described earlier, but now I can't bring it back into stock either.

Can someone help me determine why I'm not able to get into the bootloader?

Thanks.

Update 1: Managed to boot it one time and get it out of AutoRCM, but the flakiness remains.

Bad USB cable or bad USB connector on the Switch.
Cable problems can easily be checked with another cable.
Sometimes the USB connector disconnects itself partially from the motherboard over time.
This can easily be repaired by a good repair shop.

How did you manage to get it to boot into stock. Mines stuck in AutoRCM and USB is defiantly not working :(
