Switch 6.2
Tinfoil 0.2.1
ReiNX
microSD 128gb Patriot (it has more than half the space still available)

My switch has firmare 4.1 brand new switch. Used hekaku payload and did a firmware backup.
then used Reinx and installed CFW update switch to 6.2, and install AutoRcM + homebrew apps + tinfoil.
I did all the tutorial to instal python, and im able to insall NSP files to the switch via USB cable transfer using tinfoil.

But i have noticed that:

1) With GAME NSPs....installs go OK and i can play the games.
2) With GAME UPDATES NSPs...there is a 90% chance the switch cashes giving tinfoil error code 2345-0028. This causes the game to go corrupt, it shows in your list but without an image and with the spinner loading forever. so you have to go to settings and delete the corrupt data.

For example i got thEse 3 files:

file: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [0100152000022000][v0].nsp
file: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [0100152000022800][v458752].nsp
file: update 1.7 sxs-mk8u.nsp

1) Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [0100152000022000][v0].nsp installs ok with tinfoil.
2) after installed... i go to tinfoil again and run the 2nd file Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [0100152000022800][v458752].nsp..... crashes the switch error code 2345-0028, game is now corrupt. (same result multiple times)
3) I delete everything and install game nsp again. Installs oK
4) After install, i go to tinfoil and run the 3rd file, update 1.7 sxs-mk8u.nsp....switch crashes again error code 2345-0028. This causes the game to go corrupt, it shows in your list but without an image and with the spinner loading forever. so you have to go to settings and delete the corrupt data.
, making game corrupt, and you have to delete again. (same result multiple times)

Another example.

Got Zelda, from a known torrent:

file: Zelda BotW [01007ef00011e000][v0]
file: Update [01007ef00011e800][v720896].nsp

1) I install the game Zelda BotW [01007ef00011e000][v0] with tinfoil ..everything is OK i can play the game.
2) if i install the Update [01007ef00011e800][v720896].nsp with tinfoil..it crashes the switch again code 2345-0028. and corrupts the installed game. you have to delete it.(same result multiple times)

so far the only update i was able to install was one from megaman11.
I have no clue why this happens, as i don´t think you all have these problems, since those files have neen downloaded by thousands and nobody had issues yet.

any ideas?

hmmm. I would also get this error when I tried to install nsps over usb... It ended up that my sd card was dying/corrupted. It was on exfat but I moved over the fat32... My sd card was too dead for that to help though :D

are you using exfat by any chance? Installing over USB seems to be very unstable for some.

My microsd card is brand new! sealed blister bought at amazon, Patriot brand. 128gb
It was formated to FAT32 using http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

for me makes no sense that the game nsp installs fine, but most of the updates just crash the switch.

i will try tonight to send the nsp update using another method, and not with tinfoil.

You are trying to install things via tinfoil usb right?? If so, its really buggy from what ive heard and from what ive experienced....

yea usb install using tinfoil, the NSP file is on my Computer.
i have just read from someone else that has the very same problem

he mentions that it crashes on most of the updates
and very few updates he is able to install but they are not really installed when he launches the games. (dark souls, Dragon Ball )

Would just like to confirm I'm also encountering this issue, USB install thru Tinfoil of any NSP. SD card is a FAT32-formatted 64gb card which tested perfectly using h2testw. I'm just considering the USB unusable until further notice. We need a better title manager!
