Hardware Switch could be a bit more expensive than we thought

As with all other preorder prices on other shops, this is a placeholder price until the real one is announced. It won't be a thousand euros.

Lol. I don't even get why they add a phony price to it. It's easy to mininterpret if you haven't seen it before.

It would be pretty funny for them to price out their entire customer base and deliver specs on par with a ~$800 gaming PC, but if that were the case they'd already be advertising it as the most powerful console ever.

They have to add a phoney price to it so that they can pay back the customer when the real price is announced. this is for customers who pay directly that is. demanding more money from the customer at a later point doesn't really work.

I'm a bit interested in how many customers which actually DO pay this sum compared to the ones who just take it as a later invoice. I'm pretty sure the amount will be like 1% vs 99%.

Some places that take preorders only charge for your purchase once the item comes in stock and is ready to be shipped. So you place a preorder now, but your card is charged (with the final retail price, not the placeholder price) once the item is shipped. You never actually pay this much.

In denmark the price is almost 670 euro!

This is a placeholder too I believe!

The actualy price would probably be 299 euro or 349 euros....

It must be on par with the other consoles! In order for them to be favourable in the competition

Well its pretty much confirmed to sell at £249 max in the uk so, guessing all these other things are just placeholders.
