Probably never? 3DS CFW still don't have anyway to run .3ds file format which is the equivalent of .xci, what make you think switch will get it? There probably will be a way to convert and install but never run direct from xci unless you use something like SX

Honestly once sx os gets released I'm sure someone will be able to find out how they are loading direct from .xci and release it. No hardware from them is needed, you can get just the cfw file for $30 that can do it.

I've managed to get everything to work, but loading the game. When I launch the donor game I get the switch loading screen in the bottom right corner then a black screen. Does anyone else have this issue and if so we're weu able to figure out how to fix it? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, I've been working on getting this to work all day.

Fortnite is the donor and rabbids is the game I'm trying to load. I've tried dragon quest builders and snipper clips as well. Nothing seems to want to load though. Someone mentioned they used pinball for rabbids too but it still didn't work for me.

I'll give it a go hopefully this one works. I'm getting pretty frustrated seeing it work for everyone else but me.

Try "inject" in another game, someone tried inject mk8 in fortinite but doesn't work too!

I would laugh so hard if atmosphere never saw a full and final release cos of all the drama surrounding this release...

No luck I'm actually getting a new error now haha it's saying "the software was closed because an error occurred" I think it's time for me to give up on this. Thanks for the suggestion though.

this error happens to me when i close a game and try to relaunch it try to reboot to layeredfs again and try if that didn't work you're out of luck today

I have found that a lot of time anything to automatically edit the "main" file doesn't work and I have to go in manually and change something over.

I heard that y'allarenuts save tool lets you see the title id of the game but I haven't tried it myself yet so i can't confirm.

I may be wrong but i think it works like this: romfs is romfs, exefs is all that is not romfs.
Don't trust me very much, im not an expert

all of them there
make a folder exefs and place them files in it
then edit the main.npdm
dunno why ur other file is romfs.romfs
it should be romfs.bin once extracted
