Everytime you get an error on the switch it gets logged. The guys before me are an example. Those errors will get people banned, now they're all happy and hyped for the new toy, not thinking about the consequences(if they care about online at least).

No but some other guy said everyone is getting errors loading backups and I said maybe because they aren't on 5.1

Needs to be clarified. We all know how this forum works with implications.

To run LayeredFS, it runs a patched kernel of 5.1 ONLY. Meaning it will only work on systems that are running a 5.1 kernel to begin with. If you click step 6 and read the thread, you can find more information. Also that thread will most likely get deleted because it wasn't supposed to be released into the public.

Assuming they go the anti-piracy route for Atmosphere.

The CFW is open source... It doesn't matter, piracy will come one way or another

Also, is incredible to see how desperate some of you are to play free games. This is still a premature "release" that wasn't even supposed to be used yet for safe reasons. Be patient and wait a few days for proper solutions.

I WAS one of those people and I'm still here. I even remember needing ONE microSD per game as well. Now, I can have a full CFW with just one flash cart and a magnet in five minutes. I always love seeing scenes progress.

I'm laughing soo hard at everyone who makes a "in your face xecuter" post. I'll take the SX Pro any day over this unpolished turd. Im amazed at how happy you are have to go through that much hassle to load a backup and amazed that you think it's better than the SX PRO that will be drag and drop.

However, given how this is using Atmosphere and SciresM's work from ReSwitch (which apparently are highly anti-piracy), it wouldn't take long for Scires to add a check to only load up layeredFS if the original title matches that of the modified one.

It's that easy. XD

Open source. Whatever changes he makes are open and can be reverted by anyone.

Is that easy.

But we don't have to speculate because SciresM himself said he wasn't going to bother doing that because people will circumvent it anyways.

I'm not aware of any CFW actively trying to block backups. It's pointless, dumb, and would only get more people to buy modchips/flashcarts.
