since the switch's power cable is two "pronged" without a grounding prong, is it safe to connect it to an extension cable that's three-pronged? I'm trying to figure out how my original switch died all of a sudden. also, if I have it plugged into three power strips, one connected to another, along with an extension cable -- is this safe?
