Retroarch keeps closing itself. Whenever I boot it from the home screen I get a generic error message and then it boots me back to the home screen. How do I fix this?

they never supported using an NSP Forwarder/Applet Mode only App Takeover (Holding R when launching a game)

What does that mean?

Hi !

It means that in order to work proprely with switch firmware 12, retroarch must be launched in a certain way : you just have to launch any switch game and hold R button while you launch the game. Then you will be able to launch retroarch (with full ram loaded) and no crash anymore. Sorry if my english is not very good.
