Hacking SuperCard Lite Review on GBAtemp!

wth are all these claims from supercard owners against the g6 lite....guys it's said an done with stop trying to put down the g6, it's every bit as compatible as the supercard if not more in terms of DS games and not even a contest in the GBA department. Yes supercard wins in homebrew, the end.

It's up to the person which one to buy, I am a poor student who doesn't care a crap about GBA. I don't even have enough time to go through all of the DS games so I just don't care. Then I have the price issue, I can't afford to pay for the same console twice just to get a backup solution. I also found out about supercardstore.com, which ships from the EU so they couldn't add me an extra VAT at the customs.

These dog fights about which one is best lead to nowhere. Maybe people should just be more objective instead of these "My dad has a black belt in karate! He could kick your dad's arse" debates. A famous quote "Fighting over internet is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you are still retarded"

nah, for DS gaming... SC > G6 (even if it's a small victory, like slighlty more roms run and faster loading, selecting, direct saving ect ect)

but have you heard the G6 fanboy crap excuses ? like because you can buy a SC-L+1GB mem for about the same price as a G6 4G (4G!! LOL)... this means apparently you can enjoy ( ?? ) games more because having less games on one cart is less of a distraction. .. .. .. ..lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

There are no crap excuses, I own both and have used both. What increased compatibility is there on a Supercard over a G6? G6 has dominated in compatibility since way back on the DS. I do have to agree 4 gigabit is plenty enough for gaming since even on the supercard I've never had as many games....I don't even fill up my own g6...but maybe that's just me. I only like seeing a couple games @ once and just play what I want to play. Faster loading I've already said SC has the advantage and yes direct saving is pretty good to save the confusion....but the g6 saving system isn't exactly rocket science either. You save and you restart and forget about it....either soft or hard reset is up to you. We're talking only about a couple seconds gain on the supercard when starting games and going through the menu.

4GB = (512mbit) it really small

the best DS RPG Final Fantasy 3 is about 1024Mbits
how game could you put in G6?

Get your memory sizing straight. It is 4 gigaBIT and that equals 512 megaBYTES. That means you can fit 4 final fantasy 3 games on there. If you're actually playing the games seriously (normally these bigger sized games are somewhat of an epic), then that is more than enough.

lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.... "too many games offends me, oh my... I must own a really small cart else I will not be able to handle it... my brain might break "

No one claims it has to do with one's mental capacity to handle more games on a cart.....it's more of a psychological thing. I cannot play a game seriously (perhaps being spoiled by too many or too many games to pay attention to) with too many games so I choose not to stick every single ds rom (of which I don't play 90% of them) ever released on my card to try to show off my geekdom to others. You're either missing the pt or you're only describing yourself when you speak of fanboys (except obviously you belong in the sc camp).

that's exactly what I use the other space for on my scl, moonshell. But it's just to store mp3s...I'm waiting for ds organize to get working properly, apparently the new version still has some corruption issues.

bits -> bytes -> kilobits -> kilobytes -> megabits -> megabytes -> gigabits -> gigabytes, etc
