Hacking Supercard Lite problems

I bought a DS lite that came with a free Supercard lite.

I realise it an old and possibly redundant flash card but I'm trying to get it to work.

I've followed all the instructions on the Supercard official site but I'm still having trouble with it.

Most GBA games seem to work but they all run with alot of slowdown. I extracted the GBA files to the card using the supercard software. The options for speeding up the roms only seems available for DS games.

Speaking of which none of the DS games I've tried have loaded yet. Initially it did come with working DS roms on it but I formatted the SD card to install the newest firmware.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If it's an old flashcard which it sounds like it is, you probably need patched versions of roms to get it to work.

Do yourself a huge favor and just pick up a Supercard DSTWO

The lag in GBA games is normal.
