Hacking Supercard Dstwo Plus help

I am trying to get my Supercard Dstwo Plus to work on my new 3ds xl. It works on my friend's new 2ds xl, and their original supercard dstwo works fine on my new 3ds, but for some reason the dstwo plus won't. Any suggestions?

If it works on other people new 2dsxl, it should works on any other 3ds, try cleaning the contacts on your card slot on your 3ds.

The contacts should be fine, because a standard dstwo plays just fine
