Try loading it from USB with Neogamma. I've tried both GX and Wiiflow and both had bugs and were broken in some way. Neogamma might not have all the flashy cover art and graphics but it gets the job done and hasn't let me down on a single game yet.

thanks for the quick reply, but the way i got my hdd set up only wiiflow, usbloader gx and configuable usb loader works,

i got it set up with 2 partions, the first a fat pation is where i store covers and config and the 2nd as the wbfs partion, and i have tried usb with neogamma at first and had problems

plus i like wiiflow as a personal preference, super paper mario is my only trouble, even the new NSMB works

Maybe it's because you have seperate partitions? I've owned Super Paper Mario for a while now. I can load it through usb loader gx, but I haven't tested it with wii flow. I have almost the oppisite problem where nsmbw won't load through usb loader gx, only through wii flow. btw, my console is NTSC, 4.0U, cios rev 16, and my hdd only has one wbfs partition. Super paper Mario is ntsc also.

my usb hdd have 2 partitions, one fat and the other is wbfs. i have no problems running any game using neogamma or uLoader. yeah the GUI is not that fancy, but all of the games i have, including paper mario, runs off my loaders and cios 222(uLoader) or 249(neogamma).

better try uLoader.

I know this is probably of no use to you at all, but paper mario works fine on my setup.

system menu 4.1, 250gig external hdd, with a 30gig fat32 partition and 200gig wbfs, wiiflow 1.1, waninkokos cios38 rev14 etc.

also used to work fine with gx back when i used it.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
