I never played this game. Maybe it was a mistake starting with this considering how well it runs. The monkey being removed I assume is due to copyright...but that's a bit silly considering that won't help considering literally everything else in the game is copyrighted.

The only good reason I could think of to play any game in a browser is you're at work and you have a web browser and you can get away with it (or, do it and not get caught I guess). Other than that it's just a cool concept, but how many people are bookmarking these sites and playing these games a lot at home? Maybe some I don't know.
 
I was expecting one of the mobile / portable versions, but this is beautiful.
I guess it's using a decompilation? Or is this just a very good remake?
I think it just happens to be a really basic game. And Dolphin is in such a good place that running it in a web browser is trivial. Gamecube is a 24 year old console too, any computer today will have a GPU capable of running Super Monkey Ball.
