So I just downloaded Super Meat Boy.
I was waiting for another steam sale, but I couldn't wait until easter (next likely sale), so I just downloaded it..
When you boot up it says "Keyboard VS. Gamepad, You decide. Spoilers gamepad wins."

I see what you mean. I don't have one though so I am stuck with keyboards.

I've been playing for about 20 minutes, I went into this portal at the end of a level and ended up in an 8Bit world. I completed the world after several profane words and hair tears. I pressed space to skip and accidentally clicked on the same 8Bit world and it started it over... You can't exit the world so I rage quit.
Yes I am already pissed off at this game and I've only just started.

I will try again tomorrow

Completed using keyboard. But it was extremely hard because some of my jumps would not register when I clearly pressed them at the right time! I found this annoying, I tryed the dark world levels on 360 Controller it was so much easier... IWBTG stage is the worst on keyboard.

Yep. Beat it couple weeks after it came out (as in A+'d every stage including Cotton Alley). Was even ranked #96 globally at the time.

Things like platforms, puzzle games, and racing games are more suited for gamepads. Saying otherwise makes you sound like a PC elitist. Not saying you have to like gamepads, but really, gamepads are better for certain games.

i got a gamepad, but for whatever reason, the game friggin hates anything else then an xbox controller[which my bro also happens to have 2 of em, but just for a game i won't borrow it]
anw i used keyboard, the control with it is okay, but the wall-sticking and sliding all over the place was friggin annoying
