Hacking Super Mario Galaxy not working

I have been playing Super Mario Galaxy for about 2 months now on my USB but my brother wanted the USB for his camera so I tried burning Super Mario Galaxy onto disc and inserted it into the Wii using NeoGamma R8 Beta 15 and I got a message "An error has occurred. Press the EJECT button, remove the Game Disc, and turn the power off. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for more information." I did so and the message appeared again, I researched but no one has had the solution to the problem. If anyone has a solution to my problem can you please post it, Much thanks Kezza825. Oh and also I burned Super Mario Galaxy with ImgBurn and burned it at 4x.

Upgrade your cios to Rev17

and update your neogamma to the latest which is RC2.

was the disk a -r or a +r? if it was a +r was it bitsetted to dvd-rom so it would work?
did u happen to try another burn at say maybe 8x?

Well I don't really know how to use ImgBurn so I just load the .ISO and burn at MAX. speed but because I read somewhere that it's better to burn at 4x I burned at 4x. I used +R

There's your problem right there. A lot of times a DVD+R will stop working on the Wii after a few minutes of game play, or sometime won't work at all. Try a DVD-R at 4x, it should take care of the error message.

There's your problem right there. A lot of times a DVD+R will stop working on the Wii after a few minutes of game play, or sometime won't work at all. Try a DVD-R at 4x, it should take care of the error message.

I haven't got any DVD-R discs but I have burned on my last one and that worked also I have burned a few games on DVD+R and they worked but after that none really worked and I have wasted more than 10 discs

Then use RC1.

RC2 just came out yesterday so it probably does have issues.

+rs do work they just need to be set to booktype dvd-rom, as all 70 of my wii backups are on +R and not a single problem with any of the discs

How do i know what drive type I'm using? Because they are different tabs with Samsung and Benq etc.

The dvd-r usually takes care of your problems. I don't recommend dvd+r though.

If they are dvd-r you do not need to set any booktype.
