First of all, I'm new to the 3DS homebrew scene, I own a 2DSXL, I'm on Luma3DS v9.1 (I went back to this because the later versions kept crashing) and my system firmware is 11.10.0-43U.
Now, here's the lowdown:
I'm testing codes for Super Mario 3D Land (USA). I found that this code has no effect at all (at least on Luma3DS v9.1; it works on v10.0 and v10.0.1 but I won't go back to them because they crash):

Now, I was doing some research. Out of curiosity I tried this code from the EUR version on the US version:

The funny thing is, when I entered a level with this code on, I instantly died because the timer was on 000! It makes me think that this code could work for the US version if I knew where the value is in this code. I mean, the value should be in the lower right, but it just doesn't match up. So can anyone help me with this? Is this code encrypted and if so, how can I decrypt this??? If nothing else, can someone convert this from EUR to USA??? Any help would be awesome.
And finally, if it is not too much trouble, can someone convert this code from EUR to USA also:
