Apple Stupid Question

Yep, I'm not sure where it is but somewhere in the file system there is a file that you can edit to change you device FW. Theres also an app on Cydia to do it for you

The file that alidsl mentioned is at /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist.

You can try to change that to report 4.2.1, but keep in mind that frameworks vital for the app may be missing.

I got Firmware Changer 4.0, but that doesn't boot. It starts to load and crashes.

Apparently, FWChanger (different) bricks you if you respring. So, any help guys?

Manual's a bit hard for me, thanks for the help!

This may sound really stupid, but I needed to ask.

Is there a way to play games requiring later firmware on 3.1.3 (Similar to psp)?

I wanted to play Minecrafted and Devil May Cry 4.
Minecrafted? Is it in the iTunes store again?
