Hacking sTUPID qUESTION

I have a stupid question YES I used the search First . I softmoded my wii and am on 4.2 with preloader and boot as ios . My question is seeing as I didnt use simplestick to mod the wii if I use it now will it just rewrite over everything or is there a higher probability to brick . I am asking because lately I have been getting system corrupt messages I just reboot but I know there is a problem .

OK thank you very much I know something is wrong with the wii and a friend of mine and I use the new mod to mod his wii and it works fine mine is a mixin and match of stuff
