Hacking Suggestion Stupid Idea: Better Networking

An interesting modification to add to a CFW would be a better network stack, the current one is unbearably slow.

I'm fully aware that this would be a huge undertaking and shouldn't be prioritized right now, but maybe in a year or so when the CFWs are more mature it could be worked on.

(I've got gigabit and the slow downloads bug me)

I too would find this incredibly useful. Personally, the less times I need to use jigs/inject payloads the better, as I don’t use AutoRCM.

A fast, efficient networking app would be invaluable to me. I use that feature on my 3DS all the time.

I meant more like make all the networking stuff better by replacing the system code that handles it, the downloads take so long and the speed test is a fraction of what it should be.
