Gaming STUPID CHICKEN KITCHEN

So I was playing Ghost Trick when it first came out. I have been wanting to start up again so I did. I am stuck at the part in the Chicken Kitchen, where you have to ring the bell 3 times to get the waiter to come or something. I ring the bell, and NOTHING happens. Ever. EVER. SO I dunno what to do. I didn't see a similar problem going through the Ghost Trick thread (SO MANY PAGES) and I didn't see it Googling. People just say "ring the bell 3 times" "oh got it lol".

I feel stupid, I dunno what I am missing here.

Have you pirated the game? It could be some AP, but that's really highly unlikely.

Try ringing it as fast as you can, and then try doing it to a slower constant beat.

No, seriously. It's been a few months since I beat that game so I don't remember very well the order of the actions. I do remember you have to save the guy in the van from dying.

You can't get close to the blue peolple, tough. The lady has some kind of 6th sense that knows you're there or something like that...

Did you ring the bell 3 times in a row in quick succession? If you're ringing the bell with pauses in between the rings then it won't work. But if you're not doing that then I have no idea what's wrong.

walkthrough from gamefaqs

Jump to the tire and manipulate it.
Jump to Lynne's body.....again. Ask all questions. (Turn back time).
Jump to the bell on the table and manipulate it quickly 3 times.
Jump to the pitcher that's brought by the waitress (if the waitress don't bring
a pitcher then you're not ringing the bell fast enough).
Jump to the food cart.
Jump to the trunk.

I considered the fact it's AP.

but like I said, I didn't find anything on it.

I am playing on my DSTWO in the latest firmware. I tried everything, I did as you said. 3 as fast as I can and 3 slowly. nothing works.

For the record I am tapping it faster than an Otaku faps.

I can't possibly tap it any faster.

@Skyakin: I WOULD with my camera if my damn sister didn't lose my charger.
