I have a red stuck pixel in the middle of my PSP Go's screen.
I don't really notice it while playing, but it's really annyoing when there's a black/dark screen.

Is there any way to fix it (without risking anything)?

Thanks.

BTW, I didn't notice it when I bought it, I just noticed it yesterday for some reason. Could it be that it suddenly happend, and I didn't recieve it that way? how do you get stuck/dead pixels anyway?

I don't think there's any risk, some people used the video on their psp for 8 plus hours to get rid of dead/stuck pixels.
But if you're worried, you should wait for a second opinion

That's just as likely to stick/kill other pixels as the problem ones. Don't use colour cycles unless you're equally willing to get even more stuck pixels.

There was a 1.50 pixel fixer that was literally that...it worked on a much smaller amount of pixels rather than the entire screen. Unfortunately you're on a Go, plus i can't remember off hand what it was called.

On the whole they're pointless though. If the pixel isnt dead the best you can hope for is that once you've used the screen enough it'll get unstuck, or if you're feeling really daring, put some pressure on the stuck pixel and see if that helps.

I see. Wow, lcuky I didn't use it yet, I don't want more stuck pixels...
It's only one pixel, so it's not a big deal. I guess I'll just hope it will fix itself one day.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know how do you get dead/stuck pixels by any chance? I don't remember having it when I recieved it, so I want to prevent future dead/stuck pixels.

By not using an LCD. Realistically there's nothing you can do but avoid banging the screen, avoid temp changes and sunlight exposure, and avoid vapour.
