Switch purchased from eBay, was one of these, never opened or repaired, consoles. Immediately noticed a missing screw where the SD slot is, the SD card board was bad. Fan appears bad, at least doesn’t seem to spin when I’m Hekate. I can boot into RCM mode, load Hekate payload but after about 10 minutes the console will fail to do anything or go into any payload. Anyone seen this? is it worth just sending to Nintendo and moving on to another console, pretty sure I have a console where someone put all bad components inside minus the display. Darn eBay at it again.

Problem is probably the NAND.
Thank you for your reply! This is what I suspect, trying to find the most recent guide on rebuilding the NAND, without a backup. Just afraid there may be more issues than that but I think it’s at least worth a shot.

I just wanted to post and say thank you very much, I took the leap on the NAND rebuild and it worked, the wifi card is dead but it’s an unpatched unit so still some use to be had! I appreciate the help.
