Hacking Stuck in game, soft reset not working

I know this is probably a really stupid question with an easy answer. But anyway, I'm using AKAIO with newest loader, and I've been trying to get my saves to work, they weren't working and I couldnt play my Phoenix Wright file. Anyway that's a different problem.....

What I did was I went to play Chrono Trigger, and the save worked correctly, which is all well and good, but I can't soft reset out of the game! Soft reset has been on this whole time, and now every time I start up my AceKard2i, I'm stuck in Chrono Trigger. Is there an easy way out?

Go to the options for the game and enable soft-reset. Don't keep it on "Default." That worked for me.

sounds like you have autorun enabled
start up the ds and hold B and will go into the regular menu then disable the autorun from the options
with Cronotrigger this rom automatically disables the software reset so it can run

I can't get to the options in game though right? Because my problem is I'm stuck inside Chrono Trigger and can't exit back to the menu.

I dunno then have you tried turning off your ds. >.>

have you tried holding down B when you load the AK
