Its the number of languages that the game has... M7 = 7 languages. I think M stands for Mode.

EDIT: nevermind... i might be wrong

yea, you are correct. If it has M4 it means it has 4 languages.

However, there was a dumping group named Mode7, but i dont think they abreviated it as M7.

lol, i'm glad someone asked, cuz I was wondering the same thing myself.

I use a file renamer to remove the M5 stuff and the team who released it ... just to make things look neat. And I use (U) and (E) instead of (US) and (EU).
