You probably shouldn't be buying the M3i Zero anyway. If that's what you want, get the EZ-Flash Vi instead, it's cheaper too.

Was going to say the same thing. I went by the official reviews from this site and the M3i had less cons then anything else. I ended up getting it from realhotstuff and i had already known about that site. Since it's in New Jersey it is still a five day ship away from me and is $5 for shipping. Meaning it's around $12 more then a site from hong kong. So wait four weeks verse paying ten dollars more i chose to pay ten dollars more.

But RealHotStuff has no shipping. So, depending on the cart, they come out to the same price or cheaper. I just know I have gotten stuff from RealHotStuff within 2 days (Im on the east coast near them). Also, I haven't seen them run out of stock like SimplyMods does. They had Acekard 2i's in ready to ship while SimplyMods was out for 2 weeks. Just giving options.

As for the M3i having less cons: It is a nice card, but its no different then a Acekard 2i or EZ Flash Vi. Why spend the extra money?

Realhotstuff is definitely a tad bit overpriced, but not so much that it hurts their reputation. Considering it's a US seller with a good reputation and super fast shipping, they make up for the cost difference with awesome service. However, I still prefer Simplymods because of their nice customer service. It only takes a day longer for them. I'm on the east coast and it takes 2 days for Realhotstuff and 3 days for Simplymods.

So in return, I must vote for RealHotStuff.com. Great service, fast shipping, though things are a tad expensive. But theyre based out of NJ, and seeing as I live in NJ, I get all my orders in 2 days

Don't purchase from RealHotStuff.com...They just sent me a defective Acekard 2.1 clone. Won't even boot. Now I have to pay the shipping and handling to send the product back and get a new one, a process that will take at least 5 days. Thanks a lot RHS. Wow.

According to the Acekard guide thread, 2.1's from December 2009 to now are part of a bad batch recognized by the official creators so that could be it.


Honestly, I don't even see the need for 2.1's with the 2i and all...

The "bad" batch can no longer be considered bad because it works with AKAIO 1.7.1. The card I received does not work with any AKAIO version nor the offical Acekard firmware. :/

The 2i's were out of stock, and I don't even have a DSi and I don't have any plans to get one in the near future.

Well, THIS tidbit is certainly news. I got an email from SimplyMods, and they're closing down. Scared of Nintendo's power and from what I got, it looks like they got a spook letter. I dunno.
