Well , when i go to the mall , to buy games i usualy Find employers telling how to put roms in R4 or even selling them there , i think they are losing clients... , who would buy games if they have free games in their house?.

Same as emigre, I often pirate a game just to try it, if it's just an ok game I don't get it, but if I actually enjoy it, I go and add it to my collection.
The worst thing with buying games is that I can spend money on a game and then in the end, I didn't enjoy it, that leaves me with an empty feeling so I usually try a game before getting it (save some exceptions which I already know that I'll enjoy like the SMT, DQ and some others).

To be fair, Brazil is fairly well known for piracy. You can buy flash carts in brick and mortar stores there.
they doesnt even sell ds games only accesories , because here they look more for ps3/xbox.
I do pirate games, but if there is a way for me to get it, I'll try to get it (I did that with Picross 3D and Pokemon B/W, and I think it'll happen again with B2W2). If it's some kind of prototype or a development cart/disc, then that's a little different.
I'm intrigued, i thought my addiction to Steam was bad enough.
As for selling flashcarts in a game store, that doesn't make business sense.
When I was in China a few months ago, I don't think I saw a single store selling legit dvd's, games or music. I expected to see at least one :|
There's your answer! They sell flash cards as opposed to games. Coz that's what the people want.
Here they sell both.
I've got 100+ games on steam (a bulk being from bundles of sorts), but only like ~50 ROMs on my flash cart.
Since i read your post i got curious to how many i had in total, so i counted them earlier, i have 175, so it looks like we got the same addiction
I will always argue the more popular the system is the more successful the company will be.
How you make something popular seems to vary. Today seems to be appealing graphics and stronger power but that does not always have to be the case.

Flash-carts are not the reason the DS is so popular. In fact, the DS started selling a lot in 2005 while the first proper Slot-1 cartridges didn't become popular until around 2007. Even then, piracy has never been a reason for the popularity of a mainstream console. Despite how it may seem, pirates only make up a very small part of the DS and Wii's userbase.
And graphics/power are not the reason today's consoles are popular. If that was the case, the Wii with its lack of HD visuals would not be the best-selling console this generation nor would it have sold 95+ million units.
