For the wii U, SD card vs USB , I heard sd was slower/no online is this still true? if not, will a Sd card be better since it doesn't stick out of the console? , then size: 64 vs 128gb? Will i ever need a 128gb? " Do most of the wii+wii U games add up to more then 128gb" e.g meaning i should go with the 128gb for the space or 64 if thats enough and/or its much cheaper, does wii u support USB/SD up to 128gb? I'm doing this to four consoles, hence why this question is important to me , 4x 128gb usb/sd can really add up in $$$ compared to 64gb x4

or do you need both? SD card for Wii games and Usb for WIIU games? , then if i have two, how much space for each one? 64gb for WIIU, and then i'm guessing 32 vs 64gb for Wii ?

the only way to play wii u games off an sd card is loadiine, but it can be slow if you have a game with lots of files. I think the wii u supports up to 2TBs, but you won't need one that large. I have one that large with about 265 games, and it's only about half full. the max limit is 300 games anyway. I'd suggest buying an hdd since it's much faster and cheaper in the long run too.

I'm thinking of avoiding the HDD since all of these are for my family, Hdd will get in the way "even bulkier and sticking out of the console then a usb" and may require extra cables

okay, expect to wait a while for some games. with an sd card, some games take over 20 minutes to load. u can repack some files like cpk and psarc.

It's not really a hassle unless for some reason you're moving your Wii U around every few hours and it's sitting on something with no space behind it and it's sitting vertically. If you keep your console horizontally the HDD can just sit on top of it.

Go with every choice you can. Loadiine is great for other titles, like NDS, GBA, etc,. Usually, you can change the size of the screen, which the official VC doesn't always do. Plus, no one knows what you're playing...unless they wonder about your Mii Maker habits. Playing Wii U games on Loadiine is not as good as (Brazilian) USB-method.

SD card for doing installs (get a 64GB so you can install larger titles--I think XCX is 20GB), but you can also run other HB apps and games, like Gecko or SEGA library collections.

Wii U sys mem for games like BotW; it will kill your flash drive and would probably run pretty bad through Loadiine. Bayonetta 2 is the same.

I got a 320GB HDD for $28.00, with a Y-cable from ebay. 500GB is ideal for the future if you plan on having a lot of large titles, or a couple hundred 1.5GB titles.
