Homebrew Status on New 2DSXL ?

anyone know the status on the new 2ds xl.

Such as what firmware version does it ship with?

I’m trying to figure out what system to get so I can install CFW on it. I will also add that I have a new 3ds xl with Luma CFW and an original 3ds with the same thing. Both on 11.5.

I need some clearance as to what the versions are. I’m trying to get it as a gift for someone. I
Assume they ship with 11.4 or later? Thanks in advance.

hackable by dsiware transfer or hardmod.

Or you can wait for ntrboothax.

2dsxl comes on 11.4, youll need to update it to 11.5 to do a dsiware transfer from one of your other devices i believe. Use the guide as usual of course

But in all seriousness, as zoogie said you have 3 options 1 of which(ntrboothax) is currently unavailable(no eta).
Best bet is to use the dsiware section of the guide, need to update the n2ds xl to 11.5 and do a system transfer to it from your hacked 3DS. Need to buy a ds vc title from the eshop unless you happened to have one of the 4 desk titles no longer on the eshop, it's all in the guide.
