as for a wish list, may you add in future versions the possibility of booting HBC from it? I m thinking about replacing preloader with this, as preloader will not be supported any more by its author

The source for v4.2U has been posted on the StartPatch Page, over at Wiibrew.

Once v4.2E and v4.2J have been compiled and thoroughly tested, please PM me the following, so I can get it HBC-ready:

• The NEW Source (v4.2E / v4.2J)
• The NEW Compiled DOL
• The NEW Compiled ELF
• A List Of Contributors
• A List Of Any Added/Removed Patches

I don't think he's saying he's going to make a version to give to you. He's released the source...I don't think he's planning on making versions for other regions, but there isn't anything stopping someone else from doing it.

I have a NTSC-U Wii at 3.2U with Preloader installed, what do I need to do to install StartPatch v4.2U and to use it instead of Preloader? can I uninstall Preloader? so since StartPatch doesn't load into HBC, I assume it loads into the Wii menu, correct? thanks for the help

This application rocks! The Auto A button and allowing any Wii saves to be copied kicks ass!

Just three things however:

- Remove Diag Disc Check
Remove Diagnostic Disc check.

What does that do? I guess it allows backups to works but I had no luck.


- Force Disc To Use IOS249
Forces Discs to use IOS249.

What's the advantage of forcing Wii games to run with IOS?


Is region freeing Wii games going to be added? Just I want to be able to play my original PAL games. I'll just use the backup channel for now.
