Gaming StarFox online HELP!!

Okay, I'm doing all the killing, but when I go for the star it appears that I'm right ontop of it, but someone comes and takes it before me! Like, what the hell, I was right on top of it, like, it was right in front of me! Do I like have to go all the way through it? And like, fast?

Okay figured it oot, turns out objects appear closer than they are. But does anyone know a better way of speedbost rather than TAPPING the screen aALL the tim?

Um, all you have to do is double tap.

Yeah, but its kinda annoying and distracting, always with the tapping! Feelis like Ouendan all over again

Do a barrel roll, it collects near by objects. Not sure if it works online but I know it does in the main game.

Yeah, I fuggured out that thats what they were doing, lol

Oh and turns out I was doing speed boosts all wrong! I was constantly doubble tapping, instead of doubble tapping and then keeping the stylus on the touch pad!
